Description:
This is a 3D-printed mount for the GEPRC TinyGO FPV drone, designed to hold a Spektrum 1.8g servo for dropping thigs mid-flight.
It uses the Betaflight servo_tilt feature and connects to the flight controller via the LED pin (B01), ground, and 5V output.
To avoid damaging the servo, the 5V line is regulated down to 3.3V using an AMS1117 voltage stabilizer.
Instructions:
Print the part.
Connect the servo wires:
Signal to LED pin (B01)
Power to 5V through "AMS1117" for 3.3V (also needs GND)
Ground to GND
In Betaflight:
Enable servo_tilt and LED_STRIP in the Configuration tab.
Go to the CLI and enter:
resource LED_STRIP 1 NONE
resource SERVO 1 B01
(This remaps the LED pin to be used for the servo.)
In the Servos tab, assign AUX 2 to Servo 1.
Take a shaped paperclip — insert it through the servo arm and the mount’s holes.
Attach anything you want to the smaller part. You can now drop it mid-flight!
