This knot was created by exporting a model from [KnotPlot](http://www.knotplot.com/) and then adding extrusions to each mesh face in [TopMod](https://www.viz.tamu.edu/faculty/ergun/research/topology/), then printed with an Ultimaker 3 using dissolvable PVA supports (the second picture shows the newly-printed knot in a bucket being filled with water).
