My submission for the MakerWorld competition is Glitched Benchy, a reworked design that reflects the everyday errors found in 3D printing. I took the traditional Benchy model and intentionally introduced misalignments and errors to mirror the common issues found in 3D printing. The work isn’t about perfect prints; it’s a straightforward look at how technical limitations and everyday glitches can affect even a well-known design. The piece invites viewers to reconsider how we value digital accuracy and whether the imperfections in our technology might offer their own kind of insight.
