Gloster Meteor F 8

The only Allied jet aircraft to see service in WW2. It never fought the Me 262, but shot down 14 German V-1 buzz bombs from July 1944. In 1946 a Meteor F 6 broke the world speed record at 991 kph (661 mph). Flown by the RAAF in the Korean War 1950-1953. Outclassed by the nimble MiG-15 but a potent ground attack fighter, and a great looking vintage jet. Modelled in FreeCAD at 1/32 scale.
