Glow globe

This is a decorative globe. It has 12 holes in the positions of dodecahedron faces. Caps of various colors, hole shapes, and reliefs can be made and inserted into the sphere. Currently, the caps are held lightly by small bumps on the individual caps but the caps can be glued in place or the bumps and clearances can be tightened to provide more capture force. I only included 3 bumps per cap but you may wish to increase this to 6 or more larger bumps for safety in case one bump should fail for some reason. Originally (and in the Openscad program here, dodecaholes.scad), the main sphere was constructed quite small and then the STL file was expanded in the slicer by 800%. The holes were then measured with calipers and that measure was used to construct the caps in cappy.scad, somewhat smaller than the estimate from the hole rings in dodecaholes.scad .
