Glowforge Switchbot Bracket

My design space is a couple of rooms away from my Glowforge. I found needing to walk over the the forge to press the go button was often annoying, especially when iterating on designs.

I found on the Glowforge forums some folks have used a device call 'SwitchBot' and had suggestions on mounting it to the GF. I wanted something simple and reliable that looked nice and clean on my GF and settled on this design.

This little bracket is designed to be held in place on the glass surface of the GF with some thin carpet tape. Its simple to remove and won't damage the GF. The SwitchBot simply snaps into the bracket and is good to go.

Glowforge is designed to require an in person button press for safety reasons. So please recognize this and use this bracket with SwitchBot at YOUR OWN RISK and be safe.
