Just in time for Halloween glow in the dark claws!!!
These claws were the idea of my daughter who wanted claw inserts for the furry sleeves she made for Halloween. She provided the desired shape, and the requirement that we print the underside with glow in the dark filament we used on her double bladed ax.
We used Loctite super glue to hold everything together including: the upper and lower parts of the claw, the inserts into the foam and finally the assembled claws onto each insert. I am working on a better solution for the attachment to the insert as if you cosplay rough in these the glue will not hold. For the foam adherence we ended up resorting to LOTS of hot glue in the end for the ones that didn't just pop off but came out completely.
If you have not made furry paws before there are some great tutorials online, but note the inserts on these are to go into some nice thick foam that goes on the tops of the fingers so the plastic inset does not hurt the cosplayer's finge
