Glowing Crystal Formation V2

Glowing Crystal Formation (Version 2)… [v2 has a base with snap on bottom and improved fit between crystal and base] This is designed to be a small project with beautiful results. Two plates. First plate contains the crystal formation. The second plate is the base and its snap on bottom cap to support the crystal formation. I recommend printing the crystal formation in a translucent or transparent filament. I printed it in Transparent PLA from Sunlu.I printed the base in simple black PLA. Simply align the crystal carefully to the top of the base and lightly super-glue in place. The improved version 2 crystal and base align better. If you wish and are careful, you may be able to push the crystal very slightly into the base before applying the glue. It is a very tight fit. (I like a gel based super glue). The base is sized to hold a standard LED puck light. I used one which came with a remote control and could do different colors. (See GIF video for end effect). Enjoy….. EngineerDad66 Bo
