Glue gun holder

My son doesn’t quite remember that I’ve told him to put something under the glue gun when he’s using it, which means there’s little bits of glue all over the (kitchen) table. I thought that if I design a nice holder, he’ll use that and save me lots of time removing the glue. The first version was just to test that it would work at all (which it did) then I started trying to make it nice. But despite many attempts, I couldn’t make anything I liked. I noticed that all the time I spent on improving the design, my son was actually using the first version. So I guess if it works, it works!
