GOEWS is the GOAT. That much is clear. But the original mounting idea is best suited for mounting on plywood or other kind of surfaces that you can screw into directly. Myself I found I wanted my GOEWs sheets directly on masonry/plaster. That means placing and removing the GOEWs sheet to drill, place screw plugs, then place the GOEWs sheet back and use screws to fix it to the wall. Annoying. And prone to errors. Ask me how many times I marked screw locations with the sheet upside down… Behold - sacrificing a few threaded points you can mount your GOEWs sheet directly on masonry in one go. place the mount point in a threaded hole, mark your drilling location with a sharpie, drill bit, etc.Remove the mount point, drill as usual, place screw plug finally mount point goes back and screw it into place! Job done. I usually use 5-6 to mount my H2D sized GOEWs sheets. 4 at corners and two down the midsection. 4 at corners only for an X1C sized GOEWs sheet. Use my helper tool to keep the sheets
