This is my submission for the Google Fan Filter Challenge at the Midwest RepRap Festival. It is designed to hold a filter cut to the exact size of the fan at a 45 degree angle to the fan itself. This should make it easy to insert and remove. It also only has 3 mount points to make one side open for insertion. If the fan is mounted squarely then the filter will be inserted a a diagonal.
This can be customized via the customizer if your fans are a different size, or you need more depth for the filters. I have also included the default values as 120.stl
For printing, print it with ~20% infill using your favorite infill type, but DO NOT have any solid layers. This will create a grid like surface that the air will move through. I used 4 perimeters for the 120mm size.
