Google Home Mini flush wall mount

I created my own version of an in-wall mount for the Google Home Mini. This is friction fit, but will not rip the cloth of the Mini if it is removed. I put a little notch on the bottom to get a small screwdriver in, to pop out the mini for easy removal.

There are (2) holes on the inside that are printed at an angle to be able to run a drywall screw through to hold the mount in the drywall. I ended up not using them. After i cut the hole in the drywall, i notched for the tabs, and then just twisted the whole mount until it lined up where i wanted it. It is not going anywhere. but the option for the screws is still there.

I drilled a half inch hole in the drywall below the mount, next to the power outlet, to route the cord up inside the wall. I designed a little "plug" to trim out hole around the cord.
