The way I hold my phone in my car is by using a gopro mount combined with a holder that I had bought for a tripod. It uses a typical ¼" camera screw. After my old one broke, I decided to make my own. I present you my adapter bridging GoPro mounting systems to standard photographic equipment. One side features the familiar GoPro finger mechanism; the opposite had a space for you to ass a ¼" screw (Hex) . Variations: - Version A: Includes pre-designed cavity for an M5 bolt, in case your other Gopro mount does not have it. - Version B: Clean design without M4 provision I also added a gear-shaped locking handle that you could clip onto an extra 1/4" bolt to use as rotation block. Adding an extra bolt prevents rotational movement of attached equipment and the handle provides additional grip for hand-tightening Material: PLA/PETG for general use, ABS/ASA for higher temperature resistance. I used PETG because it goes in my car.
