GoPro Session Roll Only Gimbal Case

This thing is a GoPro Session case for a roll axis only style gimbal. It has been designed for a Storm32 gimbal controller with an RCTimer GBM2804 hollow shaft motor. This case is suitable for an FPV fixed wing gimbal or for a hand-held style gimbal.

The gimbal motor attaches directly to the back of the case. Underneath the case there is a groove for the Storm32 IMU which can be held in place with glue or double sided adhesive tape. The 4 cables from the IMU run through a hole in the bottom of the case, then back behind the GoPro, then out through the motors hollow shaft. It is recommended to use some very thin flexible wire so that there is no friction against the shaft for free rotation.

The case must provide a tight fit around the GoPro. Adjust the print scale to find the correct fit. If using ABS filament be aware that shrinkage can occur so the scale may need to be increased by up to 1%. A good idea is to run a test print with the case opening facing down on the printer
