GoPro "Shorty" Grip

I built this shorty grip after being told that WDW wouldn't allow my GoPro selfie stick in the parks, but still wanting a way to securely hold my little action cam! After looking for a compact grip and not really finding any that fit the bill I decided to design and make my own. Using some models I had from other projects that I modified to work for this one, specifically the well made and strong GoPro hinge from Shadetherapper's GoPro Mount for Hot Shoe and DirtySteve's gaff hook hand grip (I liked the grip pattern and taper, very well done ;-) ). The assembly is pretty straight forward, and maybe a little overbuilt (glued and screwed top assembly and the top plate and hinge being 2 pieces, primarily to account for stress on the parts [The shearing plane is turned 90 degrees for the hinge so it won't split at the middle of the pivot horizontally]).
