Christmas? Nah, this is Gothmas. Same tree, two souls: white and gold for those who listen to Michael Bublé, black and gold for the ones summoning demons with Latin choirs. One STL, two moods! I’d print both, but I’m the kind of guy who can’t even pick between tacos and burritos. I tried coloring this model to print it in multicolor… and after a few hours I realized I was basically torturing myself. Even if I had pulled it off, the result would’ve been a PLA‑devouring monster, spitting out more poops than a constipated unicorn, and taking forever thanks to all those endless flushes just to swap filament every five minutes. So yeah, I’ll stick to the sane option: print it in white or black and paint it with acrylics. A sponge dipped in gold or silver does the trick, or just grab some acrylic pens if you don’t feel like cosplaying as Picasso with a brush ⚙ Printing parameters Model height: 15 cm Printing technology: FDM Material: PLA Layer height: 0.16 mm PLA used: ~130 g Printing time: ~12 h Extra tips: 7% infill • supports required • light brim (don’t be lazy: remove it carefully) 🖌 Painting & finishing tips If you printed it in white or black PLA, leave the body as is — that’s the whole point. The paint is only for the embossed decorations, to make them pop without hiding the print texture. Optional primer: apply only on raised details if you want extra paint grip. Metallic highlights: use gold or silver acrylics, applied with a fine brush or dry sponge for clean reflections. Antique effect: lightly wash the recesses with diluted bronze or brown paint, then wipe the excess off. Final coat: seal everything with a satin or matte clear varnish to protect it from scratches (or festive chaos).   Warning: staring at it too long may cause sudden urges to reprint everything in gold.
