GPD Win 2 Replacement hinge shoulder cover.
On the GPD Win 2, after a lot of use, the plastic hinge (which is only supported by a small bit of plastic) can break off and then the display will come loose.
You can glue back the broken parts of the hinge only a number of times before it breaks into smaller and smaller pieces until it no longer can be used.
So I designed another hinge cover. Given that there is not much contact with the base, I did not design it to lock onto the hinge but rather to let the hinge move freely as there won't be enough strength to hold it. This means that you need to find a way to add some friction to the bottom of the display to allow it to keep it's place such as using some folded paper.
To install the hinge cover, you need to first use a chisel to flatten the area where the hinge should go and then superglue the hinge cover with the hinge inside it onto that area.
When gluing, I'd advise to use a brush applicator super glue such as Godhand br
