This is my GPW shell mod for the G305. I do plan on refining the model and making different versions.
THINGS YOU WILL NEED
- The 3d print
- A G305
- A rechargable AAA battery (rechargable via micro USB)
- A 4 inch female to male micro USB cable
- Hot glue or superglue
INSTRUCTIONS:
- Disassemble the G305 and save all screws
- Make the prints
- Take the bottom plate and glue the female end of the cable to the front, you will see a square to help line it up. I stripped the wire to help run it under the PCB.
- Take the main PCB and line up the left and right switches then hold them in place with "switch_connect" stl with two screws on each
- Remove the metal contact points from the battery holder and connect them to the battery however you feel to do so
- Go ahead and plug in the switches and battery to the PCB, also make sure to plug in the male ind of the cable to the battery
- Remove the DPI button from the G305 battery holder. Keep as much as you can
- Glue the but
