Graphics Tablet Pen Holder - Grabber

This pen holder was made with Huion pen dimensions, but I believe it should work for other similar pens.

The idea behind this project was to challenge myself to build something a little more complex than usual and something useful. Got inspired by a video of a pen holder that grabbed the pen with magnets and decided to try to make a pen holder that would work without the magnets, using only the weight of inserting the pen.

Visually it's very simple and doesn't require any supports or additional non-printed parts, just require some assembling.


The clearance for inserting the arms are pretty tight to keep the arms from wobbling to the sides and it will require some force to insert, but it should not constrain or make it difficult to open and close. A strongly recommend printing 1 arm and 1 clearance test first, just to make sure everything fits before using more plastic.

You will need to print 4 arms, 1 disk and 1 base.
