Custom 3D-Printable Base Plate for Gravitrax Junior When my niece received her Gravitrax Junior Starter Kit, her dad asked if there were any 3D-printable base plates available. I found one online and printed it, but it didn’t click into place properly. To solve this, I borrowed an original piece and designed a near 1:1 replica. As you can see from the images, the result closely matches the original. Printing Recommendations: Orientation: Print the piece upside-down for better adhesion and accuracy. Walls: Use 4 walls for added strength. Improvement: My initial print felt too flexible, so I added thickness to make it sturdier. It's now very close to the original while still saving print time and material.
