Here's a spin wheel for GraviTrax. Watch a short 12 second video of it in action: https://youtu.be/lFmzbH0ANE4
It has 4 advantages over the GraviTrax Roundabout on Thingiverse:
1. It can be printed on a flat print bed, without a gob of filament support to cut off the spinner.
2. The spinner is captive to the base so you don't lose the spinner part in the toybox.
3. The base has a built-in mounting ring that you pop out, turn 30 degrees, and glue on.
4. The base isn't floating in air when you load it in your slicer.
PRINT INSTRUCTIONS:
As the spinner is not designed for disassembly, print a separate base for each spinner. No supports are needed. I use a textured PEI plate and did not need brim on the spinners. But if you have bed adhesion issues, a brim in recommended.
Print with variable layer height for smooth top surface! In other words, layer height of marble rolling surface should be .08mm or .12mm rather than 0.2mm.
