In order to solve this puzzle, you must turn the dials so that all 12 columns add up to 42. This puzzle is produced in a wooden form, for sale by a company call True Genius. On the package it states at the puzzle was based on an ancient artifact. So, I was curious as to whether or not it was copyrighted. So, I contacted the company through their website inquiring as to whether or not there was a copyright on the puzzle. After four weeks I have not received a response to my inquiry. If you Google “is the Greek computer puzzle copyrighted” you will receive this response. “The Greek Computer Puzzle is an open-source, publicly available cryptography puzzle created by an unknown individual.”
