Maybe your gift needs a personal touch, maybe your friend loves 3D printed gadgets or maybe, like me, you literally don't have access to a paper printer. Hear's the perfect, 3D printed stand-in to give your gift a little extra touch.
I ran separate prints and separate coloured filaments for the cards and the words to help the text stand out. Here are some notes about the process:
1) Tinkercad has a dead simple text tool that I used.
2) I added a rectangle on the bottom to keep the letters aligned. I extruded the pattern to a height of 2.5mm.
3) Tinkercad also has some basic shapes like the included star that you can use as accents
4) I used superglue on assembly, be careful as it leaves a cloudy residue on nearby plastic that can effect the finish
