When I went looking for a Gridfinity box to store my Pinecil soldering tips, nothing quite fit the bill. Most designs were too bulky, too crude, or not truly stackable. So I made my own: a 1x3x3u Gridfinity box designed specifically for Pinecil tips, both short and long, with full stackability built in. Unlike many other designs, where picking up the tips can be quite challenging, these boxes are made with usability in mind. If you press on the end of the tip that normally slides into the soldering iron, the other end lifts up for easy pickup.The set comes in eight variations, so you can choose what works best:Individual pockets – high or low profileCombined cutout – high or low profile(all available with or without magnet holes)For the prints shown, I added a little flair by doing a color change at layer 98 (0.2 mm layer height — about 5 mm from the top).
