Or you want to put an eaven number of equal sized bins in an odd number of grid elements. Here come bins with a half step at the end in handy. Note that the tall (10HE and 12HE) 0.5x0.5 size bins might fall over if no neighboring bins keep them upright. But they print fine on Bambulab PEI plates.When compared to the simple bin the eco bins save about 40% filament and 45% print time, with increasing savings with bin sized (better grid to wall ratio). The way this is mostly achieved is by hollowing out the base leading to an imprint of the grid on the inside. Another small upside is the slightly increased storage capacity in the height dimension.
