Completely inspired by these Gridfinity Desktop Baseplates, but because I was unable to print a 6 grid base on my P1S, I had to just make feet inserts. These are designed to fit in a baseplate that has space for 3mm magnets. Those tabs allow there to be space under the bins for the feet to lock into. They are press fit, no need to glue, screw or melt. There is a small 13mm wide recess in the base for a stick on rubber pad for extra grip. One design has no extra holes, and one has extra holes. I thought the holes might add a little strength, becuase there is an extra wall in each corner. The difference between the two is minimal, No holes prints a full 30 seconds faster, but uses a whopping extra 7cm (2¾") of filament. Choose Wisely!! Because I have a wide grid base, 6 x 4, I printed a foot for each corner and then two to sit diagonal to each other in the middle.
