Gridfinity Heat Set Tip Storage

Updated 2026-01-05 After using this model for the past year or so I realized that while it looked great, it was hard to get the individual heatset tips out of the bin with my fat fingers. So I did a minor redesign to move the finger cutout area to the edge and make it deeper. Now you can just poke down on the tip and it pops right up, ready to grab. Updated 2025-02-23 Added support for Gridfinity with Pin. This is just a nice simple Gridfinity bin for storing heat set inserts and similarly sized items. It was designed specifically for Kadrick brand M2 M2.5 M3 M4 M5 M6 heat set soldering iron tips such as these (https://a.co/d/0VxeN9m). It will fit any similar tips that are 36mm long and 6.5mm in diameter.The base is a standard Gridfinity block, 1 x 3 x 3u (that 3u is about 21mm tall, and will sit about 17mm above the top of your Gridfinity panel. The filaments I used for the ones pictured are Sunlu Matte PLA Gray, Sunlu Matte PLA Powder Blue, Sunlu PLA Bright Yellow, and Polymaker PLA
