Grimes Model B navigation light for Ercoupe

Helping out a club member with his 100" Seagull models Ercoupe and he wanted the Grimes light housings on the tips. I did a pretty rough model using views of his lights but it's plenty detailed enough to pass well, even with screw heads. The model is 100% full scale with the round part having a diameter of 2". For the Seagull model, you can reduce to 27.77% for scale accuracy. I scaled slightly smaller to get 10mm LEDs to fit in the housing without a fuss. There is a guide hole in the print that can be used to drill out more for running wires through for the lights. Be careful not to go too agressive on this as there's not a lot of meat there to begin with and you may snap this part off if you are not careful. Risks of scale details, you've been warned.

I did successfully print this on a FDM printer in ABS at 50% size but any smaller than that I would not recommend. MAYBE you could get away at 1/3 scale but it would be a lot of print cleanup to look nice. SLA is the way for these det
