Grinch`s Lair

Since the movie “The Grinch” is one of my favourite and must see movies around christmas i had to come up with a new design taking my collection further.This time around i aimed for the famous cave entrane for the Grinch Lair, and pretty happy with how this came out. Focused on keeping things “simple” when it comes to unnecessary fillament changes and hazzle free printing. Even though it started out ambitious with a mini mountain-, the concept came together nicely. Colours are free to play around with, but found that using 2 different gray (a dark but not black) colours seperating door frame and “mountain” made it pop a tad more. The door is printed on a seperate plate, and from experience with previous designs i made the opening for door with a bit tolerance, so the door needs a few drops of glue in assembly to the cave.
