After having had some issues finding a filament or bowden tube cap that wouldn't let the filament drop back into my dryboxes when taken off, I decided to make my own. This model has a tapered center hole that will grab your filament pretty tightly (more if you push it in harder), at which point you push the cap and filament onto the bowden tube for storage. When you remove the cap, the filament should be right there, as stuck as you'd put it, and ready to feed into wherever it's going. I found this arrangement to be handy for top mounted connections on the standard cereal box containers, especially as the reels get a bit emptier and the remaining filament springier. It's also nice ans small, so I keep a bunch in an old medicine bottle in my workbench. Print profile works on my H2D, using Sunlu PLA+ 2.0. I had to set my hole compensation to .17mm to get measurements to work out, even with calibrated filament. STL file included in case you want to play with it.
