Guinea Pig Cage Clips

I designed these clips to originally connect 12" x 12" plexiglass cage panels for my wife's guinea pigs' cages--which we inherited when our daughters moved out. These clips are sized to accept both the wire 12" x 12" as well as the plexiglass panels or you can use in combination. These were replacement clips because the factory clips with the plexiglass panels were too tight and we had difficulty keeping the panels together. The material was also brittle, and it didn't take much to snap them especially over the wire panels--which we had to do in our cage design. We were constantly making repairs to the cage to fix clips that didn't “clip”. Thus, the quest for improvement began. The clips on both build plates include two types. Lower mounting clips which have holes for screwing down to plywood base with pan headed wood screws. Upper clips do not include mounting holes or flanges.
