Protects finger from directly contacting the string. I printed this in a flex material, for a more natural feeling. You will need to adjust the sizing to get the right fit. I designed this for my index finger, because I got a small cut. This could be used for any string instrument: upright bass, cello, violin, viola, mandolin, bass guitar ect
