The Bottom Slide has also been updated, but only in a barely noticable cosmetic way.The ModelThis is the Gumball Marble Machine 1.0, featuring a fully mechanized gumball machine, paying tribute to the early-to-mid 20th century when these were commonplace.The machine periodically spits out marbles onto a spiraling slide, leading them to the base of a spiral staircase. The staircase steps rise in a wavelike motion, transporting one marble at a time to the top of the machine. From there, the marbles spiral down through the “glass” bowl and back into the machine, ready to start again. As an added touch, alternating symbols — depicting coins or Art Deco-inspired icons — can be seen through the coin slot.This is the biggest and hardest project I’ve ever done, both on MakerWorld and elsewhere.
