Here is my take on Endprodukt's Shotgun Project. I went through and made a fair number of changes which hopefully improves upon an already great design. Main changes are:
- Modified the barrel to utilise a Sanwa switch taken from a typical OBSF arcade pushbutton.
- Modified where the camera sits to allow easier adjustment and changed the lens adapter.
- Modified the body to accept a 6mm cable in the handle, reinforced the trigger switch screw posts, added a post for the trigger spring and a few other minor adjustments. Also added the SEGA logo for a bit of fun.
- Modified the trigger and made it longer.
I printed the parts in ABS, then gave the pieces some time in acetone vapor to smooth the parts. Lastly gave them a going over with a magic eraser to remove the sheen.
Additional hardware required for this build:
- Parts to do a Gun4IR build, see JayBee's site for more info - https://www.gun4ir.com/
- 1x Fisheye lens
- 1x MQ8-Z15 Solenoid
- 1x Arcade style microswitch
