While playing with the gyroid, I received an email from Reiko Schoen about a playground structure in the shape of a gyroid-pyramid. I went ahead and designed a model—intersecting a two-cycle gyroid and a square pyramid. The gyroid-pyramid turns out to be printer-friendly, requiring only a raft. If scaled up 50 times, it would make a great 20-foot climbing structure for children. As it is, it measures 120mm by 120mm by 90mm (or 120mm), making a toy for a pet lizard!
