This is the clip system from my [Loggerhead Sea Turtle](http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:164317) model. Feel free to adapt it to your own projects.
The female half is attached as a simple example model, and also as a Boolean volume that can be subtracted from the pieces you wish to join.
