This is an improvement over my previous (inferior) design:
https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4893985
This one has better sound and is mounted between the HackRF One and Portapack H1 boards.
It uses a single low-cost 8 Ohm / 2 W / 40x20x6 mm loudspeaker. You can buy this particular loudspeaker e.g. on Aliexpress at the "JUHIWOR SCIENCE Store" shop (look for "Acoustic Loudspeaker 2W 8R 4020 2040") or elsewhere.
Howto:
- Print the box.
- Solder two cables to the loudspeaker pins and push the cables' ends from inside the box through the two holes.
- Install the loudspeaker in the box and melt the tops of the four mounting pins with your soldering iron to mushroom shape in order to fix the loudspeaker in place.
- Glue the box to the Portapack H1 board with thin double-sided sticker tape or glue. But check the position vis-a-vis the HackRF One first, the spacing is tight.
- Solder the leads to the loudspeaker pads on the Portapack H1 board.
- Protect the circuits on the HackRF
