A tool to cut the end of a pencil, that currently lacks a ferrule, for installation of a Blackwing ferrule.
Don't know what I'm talking about? First up: the ferrule of a pencil is the metal bit on the end, which holds an eraser. A Blackwing is a make of pencil with a fancy square eraser on the end, rather than the usual round one, and the eraser is held by a particularly large and iconic ferrule. They're lovely pencils, but they come in limited grades, as well as being expensive. Some people who like the style of the Blackwing eraser will either recycle the ferrule from an existing Blackwing pencil, or find some similar ferrules on eBay, and install them on a different pencil - making a "hackwing". If the pencil doesn't come with an eraser - most drawing pencils don't - then you will need to cut the pencil down before a ferrule can be installed. This jig performs this task.
I recommend using the files ending v1.1. These have slight changes to clearances on the base piece, to acco
