Even rarer is to see a Half-Elf gifted with psionic potential, a trait that usually only emerges in humans. Yet for Varys this potential came after his vision was lost, when he was already well underway in his Inquisitor training. Due to how Psionic powers differ in nature from magic, the trainers were able to turn a blind eye to Varys’ emerging powers, eventually aiding him in honing them and inducting him into the secretive ranks of the Dark Inquisitors instead.
