here I modeled a recreation of the Halo 3 smg (I did use Blender's default cube), It's not 100% accurate but it does the job.
Haven't 3d printed it yet so I can't state whether it works or not, anyway have fun with it!

edit: I'm adding more files from time to time, they're just slight improvements in the design.
