DescriptionPDFMy father hand carved these unique chess pieces with a pocketknife in the 1960's.I scanned them, added symmetrical bases and scaled them per International Chess Federation standards. They are sized to play on a board with 1.75-inch squares. Print with Wood PLA for a more genuine look. Of course, you can print in other materials and colors if you prefer2. Set Seam position (under Layers and parameters in the Print Settings) to Random3. Set Infill to 90% (this makes the pieces heavier as if made from real wood)4. For light colored pieces I used Prusament Woodfill PLA – set slicer to Prusament Woodfill5.
