Hand Crank Fan - Prototype

Learn about gears and aerodynamics with this hand crank fan!This is version 1 and there may be noticeable issues in the usability of the fan, hence I have labeled it as a prototype. I hope to continue to improve upon this design, experimenting with different gear ratios to create a truly efficient hand crank fan! AssemblyThe smallest gear and crank screw together through the hole closest to the base. Then, install the top gear (double-spur gear) with the short bar into the very top hole. Take the single spur gear, which is the thickest, and line it up to connect the other two gears you already have in the model. Line up the fan and push the long bar all the way through to the front.
