Hand crank flashlight is inspired from:

Added a gear for additional speed.
Made handle to hold gears in place.
Reflector is parabolic with LED at focus.
I filled groves in reflector, sanded smooth, then applied aluminum foil.
Motor used came from an old hair dryer.
Works surprisingly well.
