Handbrake for Sim Racing

#### Handbrake

A handbrake to use in driving games. The picture of the assembled design (or the FreeCAD files) should given an idea how everything fits together. Putting it all together inside the small enclosure wasn't that easy.

All parts don't need to be printed. For example, M5 or M6 threaded bars can be used for different "axles" instead. In addition to the printed parts you'll need some M6 threaded bar, M6 nuts, some screws and something for the handbrake lever. I used a piece of 25mm pipe (with holes drilled for the axles). That was from a left over clothes rail.

Original FreeCAD files of the design are included. I didn't use any Assembly module for FreeCAD, so almost all parts are created in the same file.

A simple PCB for PIC18F2550 and supporting components was designed using Fritzing and ordered from Fritzing Fab. Device is connected to a computer using USB and it presents itself as a USB keyboard or a analog game controller. Device is also powered by
