Since our kids wanted to have their own shields, i decided to create these handles for them. They are pretty easy to print and comfortable to hold for hands of all sizes, even adult ones. Works with cardboard, plywood, practically anything that can be drilled through, is light and strong enough. For the handle, you can use bolts and nuts up to M8 size, i have used 20mm long ones, but anything from 16mm upwards should be good enough. For the strap part, i have designed it to use bolts and nuts up to M6 size, with the ideal length of the bolts being between 12 and 20mm (longer than 20mm will be too long and can scratch the hand, those on the pictures are 20mm long). The strap itself can be up to 30mm wide (the one on the photos has 20mm). Both parts have supports enabled, if you have problems removing the supports from the strap part, try to switch to tree supports (mine needed a bit of patience to remove but came away nicely). Have fun!
