The joints of Gunpla have consistenly utilized flexible plastic materials that balance durability with mobility. This allows the models to achieve highly dynamic poses while preventing wear on the parts themselves, which can lead to loose joints (I think it's a persistent issue with many 3D printed model RIGHT?).

Based on several commonly used parts, I created simple drawing and modeling. I plan to print these using TPU 95A and incorporate them into my own model designs. According to my test results, TPU material closely matches the properties of the original Gunpla joint material (and is easy to buy and print for me at least). You could even use it as replacement parts for the official material.

I strongly recommend using various flexible materials like TPU 95A or 98A. I've also tried 85A, which is very easy to assemble, but it seems too soft for long-term use in load-bearing joints. PLA is not recommnended, as it is difficult to assemble and quickly wears down, causing the joints t
