Hanging Pencil Holder

Students are not the most organized people. Desk space is a problem that affects all students, especially those who study at home. This submission of mine will help alleviate this problem by moving unneeded materials to the overhang of a students desk. Its not too far that it'll disrupt a students productivity and not too close that it'll clutter up the students desk.

What issues did you come up against?
I struggled with fine-tuning the dimensions and making sure there's enough area on the clamp so that it would stay on reliably.
If you could redesign this again what would you change?
I would make the side containers larger.
How would 3D printing help strengthen your design?
It would help me distinguish problems and weaknesses in my design, so I could make a better archetype.
