A press to make McDonald's style hashbrowns. Includes a frame and press. To use, I generally shred the russet potatoes, rinse and dry them. Then, I toss them scattered in a pan with hot oil until they are mostly cooked but still maintain their form. Next, I put the scattered potatoes in a large mixing bowl and add some salt and a few tablespoons of cornstarch to help them stay together and crisp up. Lastly, fry in enough oil to cover until golden brown and then put on paper towel and season with some salt. Enjoy! If you are not well versed in 3d printing food safety then please do read up. The short version is that bacteria can build up in between the lines. To ensure food contact level food safety you should use a food safe filament and additionally coat in a food safe expoxy.
