Hat block, 60cm circumference

this is a hat block sized for a head with 60cm circumference. specifically my head, but if you have a similarly sized melon on your shoulders it may work for you too. the block is an open, high (6") crown with a slight draft on the sides and a symmetrical elipsoid profile. i printed this with a high number of walls and top/bottom layers, 4-6 with my .4mm nozzle, and zero infill. the reason for printing it as a hollow object is that i then drilled a small hole in the base and filled it with expanding foam to allow it to in theory tolerate heat and abuse without deforming.

V3: a 5" tall open crown block for 60cm, size 7 1/2, hat size, with 1" mounting socket on the base for use with block stands or brim blocks

i will update with images of the final block and a hat produced on it when i am able to and in the meantime make no assurances of how a hat made on it will turn out

if you need a different size, a change in scale of X times 3.33% will change the circumference by 2cm times X
