Headphone Stand with Weighted Base

Created 4mm recess to add two 4" octagonal metal electric box covers to provide weight to base without making base taller. Just epoxy them in and now the base is weighted so it will resist tipping.

I also glued on a cork bottom to keep base from marring or slipping.

Idea Credits:

I loved the design of the original Headphone Stand by @jeh241_makestuff https://www.thingiverse.com/jeh241_makestuff and saw this remix by @mmakaj https://www.thingiverse.com/mmakaj with a flat base that allowed the base to be printed vertically. This gave me the idea to make an additional modification to create an inset for weight now that I didn't have to worry about supports.
